    Hello All,

To the CCSS-M folks, Are there future plans to include a standard for learning the meaning of ≤ and ≥, in a subsequent grade level?

Thank you for these great insights.  I have a question about grade 3 NF with regard to mixed numbers.  Mixed fractions are not mentioned in the grade 3 NF domain.  I see 4/1 and 4/4 but not 41/2.  However, when we get to MD, we find mixed numbers in the line plots.  We are aligning our grade 3 (other grades too) curricular resources to the CCSS.  We skipped chapters in our book on mixed numbers.  Then when we got to line plots with fractional locations, we were confused.  Could someone please provide guidance on this?  Thank you in advance.

We are trying to look more closely into grade 5 division of fractions progressing toward grade 6 division of fractions.  The Number System progression would really help us chose resources for teaching grade 6 with consideration for grade 5 prior learning.  Is that Progression ready yet?

Thank you for supporting those of us in the front lines.  Thank you for your consideration.

We (a college where I adjunct) are planning a three credit course for those math folks who would like to become “Math specialists” in school districts.  This would include math coaches, math administrators, math coordinators and all the various names describing these leaders.

We are looking for a suitable book for the course.  The problem I am having is the currency of these type books.  We would like a CCSS perspective hence a Copyright after 2011.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thank you.

    Hello Bill,

I am devouring the Progressions – thank you. Could you please tell me if you included 2.MD.7/2.MD.8 time/money in any domain progression?  We realize that money is only in grade 2 and that time continues to grade 3, but I cannot find mention of those standards.

    Thank you for your reply.
