The Standard seems to be fairly specific and straightforward, however our district has selected a testing program that uses rounding 6 digit numbers for 3.NBT.1. Any rational for this that you can see, or is it a testing company being overzealous? I have seen questions on other state samplers that have rounding to the nearest thousand. The third grade teachers are confused as they are trying to write their Student Learning Outcomes for their APPR , so if you can shed some light that would be great.
